FAQ

Common questions about TypeHue licensing, compatibility, and our offline-first philosophy.

Is TypeHue a subscription?

No. TypeHue is a one-time purchase. Once you buy a license, it is yours forever for the current major version. We believe in ownership, not rent.

Can I use it on multiple devices?

Each license is for one device. Same-device reinstalls are supported; cross-device transfers are not included right now.

What are the system requirements?

TypeHue requires Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11.

Why does Windows show a security warning when I run the installer?

Windows may display a 'Windows protected your PC' or 'Unknown publisher' warning the first time you run TypeHue. This is normal for newly released apps before Microsoft SmartScreen builds full trust. Click 'More info' then 'Run anyway' — TypeHue is safe to continue if downloaded from this official website.

Is there a Mac or Linux version?

Currently, TypeHue is built exclusively for Windows to provide the most optimized native experience. A Mac version is in our long-term roadmap.

Will we get any updates in future?

Possibly, but not guaranteed. But if we do, We will update it on our landing page and label that as V2. We won't be charging for it. You can install the update on the same device. But that doesn't mean we will be updating the app regularly. Do send us email if you want to know about updates as currently we do not have a way to notify users about updates other than through our landing page.

Do you offer refunds?

Since we provide a 7-day full-feature trial with no account required, we do not offer refunds after a purchase is made. We encourage everyone to use the trial period to ensure TypeHue is the perfect fit for your workflow before buying.
